MEET JAMIE

A lifelong Tennessean, Jamie Brooks moved to Knoxville in 1982 to attend the University of Tennessee College of Law.  Upon graduation, he went into practice with James Frank Wilson to open the firm Wilson and & Brooks, PC.  During 37 years of practice, he’s had the honor of serving clients in Anderson, Morgan, and Roane Counties – primarily focused on Chancery Court.

After a thorough appointment process, Jamie was appointed Anderson County Chancery Court Judge on April 18, 2023, by Governor Bill Lee.

Jamie and his wife, Carol, moved to Oak Ridge after falling in love with the area while Jamie attended law school. They have an adult son, Will, who attended Oak Ridge City Schools. They attend Christ Community Church in Oak Ridge.
